The board voted to adopt the current criteria for evaluating the superintendent as the basis for next year's review. Polly Farrimond moved to adopt the criteria and Rebecca Weathers seconded; the board recorded four yeas and three absences when the motion carried.
The Targeted Feedback Survey (TFS) discussed earlier in the meeting will serve as an extra component of the evaluation and the board selected three survey standards (visionary leadership, inclusive culture, communication and community relations) to be included in the feedback instrument. Brent and Denise will finalize the email lists for survey distribution to OSBA by Monday.
Board materials indicate the adopted criteria will guide the superintendent's formal review cycle and associated timelines.
