Board approves agenda, minutes, appointments and consent items
Summary

The Boquet Valley Central School District Board approved the July 1 meeting agenda with amendments (items 10a, 20 and 23 b/c removed for separate consideration) and accepted the minutes of the June 17, 2025 meeting. During the reorganization the board also approved superintendent recommendations for school officers, including chief school officer Joshua Meyer, district treasurer Melissa Lucia, deputy treasurer Hayden Reedy, purchasing agent Karen Mulligan and CEWW BOCES as claims auditor.
The board designated Champlain National Bank, New York Liquid Assets Fund and New York Cooperative Liquid Assets Security System as bank depositories and named Crest Republican and Sun Community News as official newspapers. It approved the action items consent agenda (22a–h) and the personnel consent agenda (23 a–j) after pulling and separately approving items 23 b and c; one member recused themself from an item because it involved a relative. Several members asked administration to return with more detail on substitute pay rates and noncertified assistant compensation at the August meeting.
