Trustees praise new flag, discuss enrollment count, safety and generator needs

Valdez asked how Tranquillity High was operating with roughly 310 students and requested updates on a roundabout near McCabe (staff estimated at least three more weeks for completion). He and others asked about securing generators for MHS and Mendota Junior High School freezers following recent power outages and the potential cost of replacing food items. Trustee Sherry Charles reported that crosswalk lights at Mendota Junior High School were out and asked staff to notify the city.
