Finance staff (S4) presented a preliminary year-end snapshot for FY24-25 prepared July 7. The report showed projected general fund revenues at about $18,700,000 (roughly $375,000 under expectations) and projected expenditures at $19,300,000. Finance staff said the district's estimated ending fund balance is $4,540,219 but cautioned that these numbers are unaudited and will change as the audit and year-end journal entries are completed.
S4 said the district will begin audit work and year-end adjustments immediately; the final audited figures will replace unaudited projections. "It's due by December 31, so we try to get it done before that," S4 said, noting staff will work through reconciliations and update the board when the audited results are available.
