Candidate Kelle Landavazo stresses strategic planning and authentic engagement

"A good strategic plan is really important, and is hard to do when they are just trying to keep the lights on," Landavazo said when asked about priorities and planning. She told the board she wanted to help connect mission statements to actionable plans and to reduce barriers that prevent underrepresented families from engaging.
Landavazo acknowledged the district's fiscal constraints and said many governments face similar trade-offs; she volunteered to participate in ongoing conversations to help prioritize student and staff needs within limited resources.
