Operations report: staffing changes, training, compost event and sewer spill at Bolsa and Moran contained

Director of Operations and Safety Nicolas Castro reported several operational updates at the Board's April 21 meeting. Two solid-waste drivers were transitioned to the Sewer Department, CPR training was completed for interested staff, Safety Course 101 was presented, and the Solid Waste team picked up compost bags for an upcoming compost event.
Castro also reported that a recent sewer spill at Bolsa and Moran has been contained. The update was provided as part of the Operations and Safety report; the Board did not take separate action on the incident during the meeting. Staff will continue monitoring and will report any material follow-up as required.
