City clerk Laura Hathaway summarized recent recruitment and the received applications for two Landmark Preservation Board openings and one lodging-tax advisory position held by a local hotelier. "We did receive 2 applications, from 1 from Mark French and 1 from Andrew Schell," the city clerk reported, and staff also noted an applicant (Mark Lee) for the Lodging Tax Advisory Board. Deputy Mayor Aldrich moved the appointments and council member Dodd seconded; the roll-call vote was 7'–0 in favor with terms starting immediately. Council thanked the applicants and staff for their work on the recruitment process.
