SBISD Board appoints hearing officers, approves graduation dates and routine personnel
Summary
The Board appointed three hearing officers for proposed nonrenewal hearings, approved 2025–26 graduation dates and adopted the 2025–26 meeting schedule. Routine personnel items were approved 7-0 after executive session.
The Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees completed several governance actions on March 24, approving personnel, procedural and scheduling items.
Following a closed executive session, the Board approved routine personnel items by motion of Trustee John Perez, seconded by Trustee Caroline H. Bennett; the motion passed 7-0. The Board also approved 2025–2026 graduation ceremony dates (motion by Vice President Courtney Anderson; seconded by Trustee David Slattery) and the Board meetings schedule for 2025–2026 (motion by Trustee Bennett; seconded by Trustee Perez), each by a recorded 7-0 vote.
In addition, the Board appointed Mr. Robert Barringer, Mr. Raymond Gregory II, and Mr. W. Jerry Hoover as the district's designated hearing officers for any proposed nonrenewal hearings, in accordance with Board Policy DFBB; that motion passed 7-0.
