Board holds first readings for dress code and TASB Update 125 policies

At the Aug. 18 meeting, the board considered two first readings: Board Policy FNCA (Dress Code) for 2025–2026 and a set of policy revisions under TASB Update 125 (including BDAA(LOCAL), BDB(LOCAL), BDF(LOCAL), EI(LOCAL), and FDE(LOCAL)). Both were presented as first readings only and no board action was taken.
The dress code policy will return for a second reading at the Aug. 25 meeting, according to the minutes. The TASB Update 125 items were likewise presented for information and will follow the district's regular policy review process.
