Historic Preservation Commission approves minutes, reiterates sign and permit rules

The Village of Ridgefield Park Historic Preservation Commission met July 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the municipal building. Chair Jeff Hoffman called the meeting to order and roll call showed members Jeff Hoffman, Gerard Garofalow, John Antola, Tim Arata and Theresa Robinson present; Matt Bilow was absent.
The commission approved the minutes of the June 25, 2026 meeting on a motion by Gerard Garofalow, seconded by Tim Arata, with the minutes noting that "All were in favor of the motion." The minutes also recorded approval notes covering permitting and sign rules and noted that the Family Laundry application for 264 Main Street had not returned required information. The next meeting was set for August 27, 2026.
