Superintendent Dr. Elna Davis briefed trustees on current student enrollment and upcoming district events, including picture retakes, cap-and-gown orders, PSAT/SAT testing, curriculum nights, and the debut of the district mascot "Tex" at the annual Round-Up.
Campus principals and department directors then presented their 2025–26 "Big Rocks" goals and 2024–25 accomplishments. Presenters included campus principals, instructional directors, technology and transportation supervisors, special-programs leadership, and services staff; each outlined priorities such as curriculum continuity, student supports, technology initiatives, and operational goals.
The presentations were informational and intended to align department priorities for the coming year; trustees received the reports and asked clarifying questions but took no formal action on these agenda items at the Sept. 15 meeting.
