Board approves dress code policy and 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct
Summary
The Tuloso-Midway ISD trustees unanimously approved the second reading of TASB Dress Code Policy (FNCA) and adopted the 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct, both on 6–0 votes after administration recommendations.
The board approved two student-related policy items during its Sept. 15 meeting. Trustees approved the second reading of TASB Board Policy FNCA (Dress Code Policy) for the 2025–2026 school year (motion by Leo Gonzalez, second by Rick Chapa), voting 6–0.
Separately, the board approved the 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct as presented by administration (motion by Kim Boone, second by Rick Chapa), also by a 6–0 vote. Both items were presented as administration recommendations and were approved without further amendment.
These approvals set the district’s behavioral and dress expectations for the coming school year; the Student Code of Conduct and the dress policy will guide campus-level enforcement and communication to families.
