Staff reported eight new business tax receipts and briefly reviewed upcoming tenant activity at 3110 Plaza, including a landscape facelift and an immersive dining concept set to occupy the former Legends Tavern location. Committee members exchanged questions about permits, timing and suitability for the area.
"Elysium is a very upscale destination restaurant featuring 6 course tapas food and wine cocktail pairings that will transport the diner around the globe," a staff member summarized from a Chamber of Commerce notice. Staff said the operator hopes to open with a soft launch on March 21 and a formal grand opening shortly thereafter, subject to building-permit approvals.
Members flagged the site as an opportunity to coordinate with the plaza owner on civic uses and signage changes if the Brixmor redevelopment proceeds, and asked staff to monitor permit status and report back.
