Committee outlines report to commission, seeks data to support recommendations

"This is nothing final, but just as we start to fill in the information and how we present, I say commission, I'm sorry, commission, and present the information to them," Bauchner said, framing the report as a tool to inform commission action. Members discussed potential sections including a master-plan recommendation, marketing/communications materials, and code-change options such as signage or zoning overlays.
The committee also agreed that any formal recommendations will be brought by motion to the commission and that planning staff and the city clerk will help sequence previously discussed items back onto future agendas for decision-ready consideration.
