Valley View ISD approves MOUs and CTE agreements for 2025–26 school year

On Aug. 25 the Valley View ISD Board approved multiple MOUs and program agreements for the 2025–26 school year on a motion by Jaime Gaona, seconded by Claudia Coronado. The items included an MOU with Tropical Texas Behavioral Health to coordinate referrals and services (presented by Isaias Vidal, At‑Risk & Safety Programs Administrator) and an MOU with Region One Education Service Center for the district's adult education program (presented by Dr. Nancy Montemayor, Assistant Superintendent).
The board also approved renewals and agreements for career and technical education courses: a contract renewal with South Texas Initiatives LLC for Architecture & Construction cluster courses, an agreement with Meraki Institute of Beauty and Wellness for Human Services cluster courses, and a renewal with RGV Vocational Services to provide Health Science career-cluster courses (presented by Gustavo Guzman, CTE/PTECH/ECHS Coordinator). "MOU with Tropical Texas Behavioral Health to coordinate referrals and services for those individuals who receive services," the minutes list as one of the approved items.
