Council President James presided as the Borough of Pitman Council adopted a multi-item consent agenda at its May 27 meeting, approving Resolution Nos. 88–96, which cover a shared-service agreement with the Borough of Magnolia, renewals of two plenary retail consumption licenses and an amendment to the borough’s water-tower lease with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (AT&T).
Councilwoman Musto introduced the consent agenda and moved its adoption; Councilman Uyehara seconded. The roll call recorded votes of yes from Council President James, Councilwoman Guarni, Councilwoman Musto and Councilman Uyehara. Councilman Mazzola abstained specifically on Resolution No. 91, the AT&T lease amendment, and voted yes on the other consent items. The motion carried and the listed resolutions were approved.
The consent package also approved outdoor-eating permit addenda for multiple Broadway restaurants, including Milkweed Table Market, Alaura Kitchen, Sweet Lula’s, Coco’s Cocina and The Brewed Awakening Cafe. The council then approved payment of bills for May 27, 2025 (motion by Councilman Mazzola; second by Councilman Uyehara) by roll call vote of members present.
