The Borough of Pitman Council convened on April 28, 2025. Mayor Razze called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m., Council President Vanessa James led a moment of silence and the salute to the flag, and the mayor read the Open Public Meetings Act statement as required by law. "Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, I hereby announce that adequate notice of the time and date of this meeting was published in the South Jersey Times and Courier Post, posted on the Borough Hall bulletin board, and advertised on the Borough of Pitman website," the mayor stated.
Council voted to approve the work session, regular, and closed meeting minutes from April 14, 2025 (motion by Council President James; second Councilwoman Guarni). The roll call recorded Council President James, Councilwoman Guarni, Councilman Mazzola, Councilwoman Musto and Councilman Uyehara voting yes.
The mayor also read a proclamation from the borough DEI Committee honoring Autism Acceptance Month 2025. The proclamation was entered into the record; the minutes do not record the proclamation text but note the recognition and that the DEI Committee prepared it.
