The board unanimously adopted Resolution 9-2024 to participate in the 2024 Justice Court Assistance Program. The resolution authorizes the village to seek funding for interior and exterior lighting of the Village Court parking lot, improvements to the court office and a new door for the Village Court entrance.
Trustees said the village has applied for similar grants in past years to fund courthouse improvements and noted the program can cover interior safety and accessibility upgrades. The resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
