Gomez told the Board that the overtime allotted "will not be sufficient as a long-term solution," noting the vacancy reflected an approved position on the organizational chart since 2024 that has not yet been filled.
Commissioner Laura Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Lower District Court to fill the 7th Legal Process Assistant position and to approve a budget amendment to allow the position to be filled immediately. Chairman Cory Wright seconded. The motion carried 2-0.
