Waller ISD board approves 2025–26 compensation plan to boost pay for staff

The Waller Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the 2025–26 Compensation Plan during a special called meeting on Aug. 25, 2025. Chief Human Resources Officer Angie Campbell Pulido presented the proposal and described its purpose as strengthening pay to retain and recruit employees.
"It contains competitive pay to attract and retain staff based on salary studies and comparison with competitive districts," Angie Campbell Pulido said. Trustee David Kaminski moved to approve the plan and Trustee Brittany Neel seconded. The board recorded the motion as carried 6-0-0 with Secretary Ronald Campbell absent.
The compensation plan was presented as part of the district's broader effort to align pay with peer districts and to support staffing stability amid enrollment and operational needs. No amendments to the plan were recorded during discussion and the board approved the motion as presented.
