The board considered a special-use permit for automotive detailing and restoration at the Orinoco property. A board member familiar with the application recommended approval, saying, "I would, recommend the approval of the special needs permit," and the board discussed attaching covenants and restrictions as part of the later site-plan review so neighbors can review proposed conditions.
The application had already cleared prior hearings before the zoning and planning boards; trustees noted that automotive detailing is a permitted use in that zoning district with a special-use permit and that site-plan covenants and restrictions will be published before the site-plan public hearing. Trustee Hildecchio recused from this matter and did not participate in the discussion or vote.
