Council members discussed switching the town website to a different vendor and whether to change Glendale’s long-standing apple logo.
A council member said the new vendor would charge regular yearly fees but not setup charges, and encouraged the group to provide a new logo concept within two weeks if they wanted one. “If we had a cool logo besides an apple, we’ll need it within the next two weeks,” a member said. The council agreed to postpone final decisions until staff can report website-traffic data and sample logos.
Members noted the Apple Festival and other events where a refreshed logo and merchandise could be used; staff will bring traffic metrics and vendor options back to a future meeting.
