The Tenafly Planning Board voted to approve a site plan with variances for 1–11 Serpentine Road at its March 25, 2026 meeting. Attorney Jeffrey Zenn reviewed conditions attached to the resolution, including variances for landscape buffer, parking counts, drive aisle width and three compact spaces, and approval for a Major Soil Permit. The approval requires the developer to install two benches along the street frontage and to coordinate recycling arrangements with the Tenafly Department of Public Works.
A motion to approve the Resolution of Approval for Site Plan with variances (application PB#1-25-05, applicant BCUW/Madeline Housing Partners, LLC) was made by Jon Warms and seconded by Lynda Baldini. The roll call showed affirmative votes from Chairwoman Mary Beth Wilmit, Nichole Osborne, Jon Warms, Ted Nevins, Lynda Baldini, Councilwoman Lauren Dayton and Mayor Mark Zinna; no members voted against the motion. The minutes record that all eligible members voted in favor and the motion carried.
