Council amends youth commission rules and appoints six youth commissioners

Youth commission members and applicants testified about attendance problems: the chair (Johan Jacob) said the commission scheduled 10 meetings last year and was only able to hold five due to lack of quorum. After discussion the council voted unanimously to introduce and waive first reading of the amended ordinance and later accepted all six applicants for the 2025–26 term.
