Residents split at Bronxville meeting over Playroom's traffic and character impacts

Kate Steele (speaker 5) told the board such play spaces operate like restaurants — where patrons stay for a predictable block of time — and that caregivers are likely to park farther away if needed.
The board cited the split in public sentiment during deliberations and required operational conditions (caps, staggered sessions, stroller storage inside) as part of the approval to mitigate the concerns raised at the microphone.
