Engineering firm flags meter-software glitch affecting water bills

Ryan Holcomb of Thrasher Engineering told the Lumberport council that a software conflict is causing water bills to be inaccurate and that the firm is checking accounts to correct errors.
Holcomb said the issue has made it difficult to generate correct bills but that staff "should be possible soon to generate the correct bills." The council recorded the engineering update for follow-up; no vote or ordinance was taken on the issue at this meeting.
Council members will receive updates as accounts are reconciled and corrected billing is produced.
