The West Long Branch Council confirmed receipt of the 2024 annual audit and adopted a Corrective Action Plan required by the State and the Local Finance Board. Council also adopted emergency temporary appropriations under N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 to supplement temporary appropriations until the 2026 budget is finally adopted.
Councilmember Bray presented the annual audit resolution and the corrective action plan for approval; members certified they had reviewed the audit's 'Comments and Recommendations' as required by N.J.A.C. 5:30-6.5. The resolutions passed unanimously and the Corrective Action Plan will be filed with the Director of the Division of Local Government Services.
