RPC approves final plat for Windswept Phase IV Unit 2 and resubdivision of Lot 44R

Planner Sabrina Seamon presented the final plat for Windswept Phase IV Unit 2 and the resubdivision of Lot 44R. The final plat shows 25 residential lots averaging 0.84 acres and two private roadways (Rusty Row and Heritage Shore). The minutes note that many lakefronting lots include a small rear portion in the 100-year flood plain and will have a minimum 30-foot rear setback because of the Cherokee Lake Water Quality Buffer.
Lot 44R was subdivided into 44R-1 and 44R-2; 44R-2 contains a pumphouse that will be maintained by Morristown Utilities and that the owner ATS Realty, LLC will deed to the Morristown Utility Commission upon completion. The commission approved the final plat by unanimous vote (8–0) with the understanding that staff would not record the plat until outstanding development tasks were resolved.
