Senior Planner Josh Cole presented the preliminary plat for Masengill Landing Phase II, describing the proposal in detail. "Mr. Josh Cole brought forth a request for preliminary plat approval of Masengill Landing Phase II consisting of 32 lots on 6.7 acres with lots ranging from 7,646 square feet to 15,290 square feet for an average lot size of 9,167 square feet," the minutes record. The presentation noted that every lot exceeds the R-2 minimum of 7,500 square feet and that the phase includes a new public street extending to W. Economy Road.
Following staff recommendation, Commissioner Ventrus Norfolk moved to approve the preliminary plat; Mayor Gary Chesney seconded. Voting results were recorded as 8 yes, 0 no and the motion carried, advancing the subdivision toward final engineering and utility approvals that staff will track.
