Brian Fulmer, council policy analyst, introduced a proposal from Public Lands to indefinitely close but retain ownership of two city-owned alleys within Jefferson Park (District 5) to consolidate parcels for park improvements funded by the Reimagine Nature general obligation bond. Fulmer said the public hearing must be continued due to a noticing error.
Staff reported there were no registered speakers for the item. A council member moved and a second continued the hearing to a future council meeting; the chair called the question and the motion carried (chair later stated six members voting in favor, one abstention).
