Ginger Cove residents ask Valley council for 25 mph speed‑limit signs; resolution to follow in March

At the Feb. 10 meeting, resident Kari Bargstadt-Wilson asked the council to install two or three 25 mph speed‑limit signs in Ginger Cove and provided a map showing possible locations. City Engineer Perry offered technical input on siting and feasibility, and City Attorney Matt Munderloh advised that a formal Resolution would be required to spend City funds on the signs.
Council member Melanie Hayden motioned to have City Attorney Munderloh prepare the Resolution for action at the March council meeting; the motion passed unanimously (YES: J. Lewis, Socha, Dean and Hayden). The council did not take immediate action on purchasing signs and expects the matter to return on the March agenda for a formal vote.
