Board adopts CSE recommendations and several personnel/student policies
Summary

The board voted to accept CSE recommendations for the 2025–26 school year and completed second readings and adoption of multiple district policies (Policy #5640, #6120, #6130, #6140, #6150, #6160 and #7513). The policies address smoking/tobacco/cannabis use, equal employment opportunity, evaluation and medical examination of personnel, staff substance guidelines, professional growth, and student medication and personal care items.
Margaret Colligan moved to approve the program items and Karina Montalvo seconded. The motion carried unanimously, and the adopted policies will be integrated into district personnel and student handbooks as appropriate.
