The Board of Education unanimously accepted the superintendent's personnel recommendations, approving step and degree movements for multiple faculty members retroactive to Sept. 1, 2025, and authorizing appointments and contracts for non-aligned personnel.
The approved step movements included (selection): Claire Geehreng (Step 6 MA+15 to Step 6 MA+30), Patricia Goff (Step 9 MA+45 to Step 9 MA+60), Jennifer Gulluscio (Step 20 MA+60 to Step 20 MA+75) and others as listed in the motion. The board also amended a prior appointment for Kelsey Northcote to set the daily rate at $190 (prorated) and approved additional substitutes Amy Taylor (teacher) and Kimberly Atkins (aide).
The board certified Brian Doelger, Jennifer Rylott, Todd Gulluscio and Allan Gerstenlauer as qualified lead evaluators of teachers and principals for 2025'026, referencing the skills prescribed in 8 NYCRR A730-2.9(b) and the state's evaluation rubrics. The personnel and certification motions were approved without opposition.
The approvals implement changes to payroll and personnel records retroactive to Sept. 1 and authorize the superintendent and board president to execute related agreements.
