Board accepts July financial reports and approves budget transfers

The Shelter Island Board of Education accepted the district’s July financial reports — including the treasurer’s report, extra‑class report, appropriation and revenue status reports, the August claim auditor’s report, and payroll audit report — and approved budget transfers and journal entries for the period Aug. 18 through Sept. 8, 2025.

The motion to accept the reports and transfers was made by Margaret Colligan and seconded by Dawn Hedberg. The minutes indicate the superintendent had approved transfers in accordance with board policy and that transfers requiring board approval were adopted at the meeting.
