Board approves substitutes, coaches and extra teaching period for 2025–26

The board also approved mentor/mentee assignments at $1,500 per the Shelter Island Faculty Association contract, amended the 11th grade advisor motion to appoint Catherine Brigham and Lynne Colligan as co‑advisors ($1,092.07 each), and approved one extra teaching period for Sean Brennan (Social Studies 7–12) for Sept. 2, 2025–Jan. 28, 2026, at a stipend of $9,776.17. All personnel items were approved as presented and recorded as carried unanimously.
