At its July 13 meeting the Town of Seward Board authorized a Town Wide Garage Sale to be held on August 29, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The motion, moved by Councilwoman Wendy Adams Rosa and seconded by Councilwoman MaryAnn Nelson, passed by voice vote 5 yes, 0 no. Residents may rent a space at the municipal building for a $10 fee; the town clerk will compile a map and address listing for participants.
Board members asked residents to contact the Town Clerk, Brenda Southworth, to reserve a spot. The authorization is limited to the single‑day event as passed at the July meeting.
