The Muroc Joint Unified School District Board approved its consent agenda at the Aug. 11, 2025 meeting. Items approved included adoption of June 30, 2025 minutes; July 2025 deposit and accounts payable reports; authorization for the superintendent to file 2025–2026 Impact Aid applications; interdistrict attendance agreements; an agreement with the University of Nevada, Reno; a clinical practice agreement with CSU, Bakersfield; a memorandum of agreement with the Muroc Education Association covering elected union officer release time; fall sports schedules for Desert Jr/Sr High School; a July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026 meal vending agreement with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools; multiple personnel actions; and Resolution 08-25-01 adding a Classified Services position for a Special Needs Van Driver.
The consent motion was moved by Jeremy Caillier and seconded by Broc Job; the minutes record the motion as approved with a 3-0 vote (Carter Aye, Job Aye, Caillier Aye). The agenda also includes a proposal for new high school CTE courses for 2025–26: CTE Medical Assistant; CTE Early Childhood Development; CTE Culinary Arts; English Through Public Health; and Spanish Through Public Health.
