GRANTON, Wis. — The Nov. 16 special joint meeting of the Granton and Loyal school boards included a set of routine procedural votes: approval of the agenda, a unanimous roll‑call vote to enter executive session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c), a unanimous roll‑call vote to return to open session and an immediate adjournment at 10:07 p.m.
The agenda was approved by motion of Douglas Eichten, seconded by Mark Elmhorst, and carried on a voice vote. The motion to convene the executive session was made by Douglas Eichten and seconded by Erica Bender; roll call recorded 'Yea' votes from Erica Bender, Douglas Eichten, Jamie Elmhorst, Mark Elmhorst and Sheryl Young. The motion to leave executive session was made by Mark Elmhorst and seconded by Erica Bender; roll call was unanimous. Clerk Douglas Eichten reported publicly that no action was taken during the executive session.
