Administrators report referendum preparations, fire-alarm completion and new high-school program

During reports on May 21, elementary principal Betsy Miller highlighted end-of-year activities and the month's character trait of creativity; Middle School Assistant Principal Chad Gago summarized Celebration of Learning activities. Interim District Administrator Sheri Kopka and Bookkeeper Lori Applebee said they are working with groups to finalize preparations and progress on an upcoming referendum and reported the district expects its fire alarm system to be fully operational by the start of the next school year.
Ms. Kopka also noted a new high-school program called "Growing Connections," which replaces the traditional Celebration of Learning, and expressed optimism about the program's potential to expand in future years. The Treasurer’s Report presented by Lana Nelson was accepted as presented.
