Following an executive-session discussion of personnel matters the Darlington Community School District board voted March 26 to approve a 2025–2026 teacher pay package.
A motion by Riechers, seconded by Ben Trout, approved a 1.5% base salary increase for teachers, application of steps and lanes (supplemental), and a $250 bonus to be paid in December. The motion carried. Earlier in the meeting the board received an update on development of a new teacher salary structure; teacher-salary negotiations were among the topics discussed in executive session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c).
