Town Manager Chauncey McCarthy provided multiple project updates. He said staff is reviewing a Preliminary Needs Assessment (PNA) for the water system and is working on an asset management plan. A substantial water leak had been caught and the town returned to normal usage. The sewer system is undergoing an environmental assessment. McCarthy said parks projects are on hold until spring and that the skate-park project faces high costs; staff may seek a temporary permit to allow construction crews to stay in RVs during the build.
McCarthy also reported fiber-boring under the highway is complete and that staff is working on an ADA plan for the town website. He noted CML packets had been distributed to new trustees and that CIRSA training is planned for early 2025.
