The Wheaton City Council on April 6 adopted Resolution R‑2026‑30, awarding construction services to D’Land Construction LLC for the Alley D‑D storm sewer replacement and pavement reconstruction project for a total amount not to exceed $406,740.70 plus a 10% contingency. City staff told council nine bids were received and noted the 2026 budget allocated $500,000 for the work.
Council members said the project addresses a storm sewer that runs between Willow and Illinois just east of Naperville Road and approved the contract authorization unanimously. Staff indicated the budgeted amount will cover construction and contingency.
