Board approves a slate of administrative MOUs and resolutions unanimously
Summary
Trustees approved several administrative items by substitute roll calls, including job descriptions and an MOU with CSEA, MOUs with NTA on leadership and schedule modifications, an updated unrepresented specialist salary schedule, and a workers'-compensation resolution for volunteers.
The board approved a series of administrative action items (D through I) without objection. Items included a resolution to certify district signatures, approval of two new job descriptions and a related memorandum of understanding with CSEA, MOUs with the Natomas Teachers Association (NTA) on elementary leadership positions and a temporary schedule modification for Paso Verde School, an updated specialist salary schedule, and a workers’-compensation resolution for volunteers.
Motions for these items were moved and seconded and, in several cases, the board used a substitute prior unanimous roll call; clerks recorded the passage of each item 4–0. Trustees thanked staff and cabinet members for preparation and emphasized the administrative nature of these approvals.
No public comment was submitted on most items; where public comment occurred earlier in the meeting it was for other agenda items. Staff will finalize documentation and proceed with implementation of the approved job descriptions, MOUs and policy updates.
