She said projected savings on the district analytics program—about $22,000 compared with earlier estimates—allowed the district to implement MyFlex Learning at the high school and expand scheduling tools that integrate with Aspen.
Jody described new data protocols that anonymize student names to focus on cohort trends before moving to action steps; she said the district has shifted emphasis to tier‑1 classroom strategies, with acceleration specialists and reading specialists supporting targeted tier‑2 instruction. Committee members asked about the daily instructional impact of the protocol; Jody said the work is both tier‑1 and tier‑2 and that staff buy‑in has grown with the move to data‑driven PLCs.
The committee discussed next steps including further professional development, an action plan for MTSS implementation, and a literacy review next year as the district approaches a contract renewal for English language arts materials.
