Using historical averages, the Superintendent estimated $1,050,000 will be needed for remaining town payments; the board authorized the Budget Officer to transfer the funds into D51424 – Snow Removal (Account 54400 Contracted Services). The resolution was adopted on roll call.
The transfer is intended to make towns whole for contracted services through the season; the resolution does not change the contract terms with towns but amends county budget appropriations to cover projected expenses.
