District staff and the Analytic View vendor presented a district analytics platform that aggregates data from Aspen, assessment systems (MCAS, AP, SAT) and other sources into role-specific dashboards. The presenter said the platform allows drilling from school- and subgroup-level views down to individual student profiles and supports MTSS and RTI processes by surfacing trends in attendance, assessment and standards mastery.
Administrators described use cases: tracking chronic absenteeism by reason codes, filtering performance gaps by subgroup, and assigning reports and interventions tied to data-driven questions. The district’s system administrator (Mike Montgomery) and the presenter said dashboards are already in use in pockets (middle-school teams and coordinators) and will be expanded with role-specific access and additional PD to help teachers and staff use the reports effectively.
Committee members asked about professional development, data accuracy and planned rollouts. The presenter said the vendor is building dashboards iteratively and will provide PD; district staff said some coding and access issues were fixed and that further work on reporting timelines is planned.
