The Natomas Unified School District Board of Trustees opened a public hearing at 7:31 a.m. to disclose terms between the district and the Natomas Teachers Association as required by AB 1200 and closed the hearing one minute later after receiving no public comment.
"Is there any public comment on this item? I'm not seeing any feedback," the Board President said when soliciting input at the start of the hearing. With no speakers, the Board moved to close the hearing and then approved the AB 1200 public disclosure by unanimous roll call.
The brief hearing satisfied the statutory disclosure requirement under AB 1200; trustees recorded a 5–0 vote on the agenda item to approve the public disclosure. The board's clerk called the roll and the president announced that the motion carried.
