The Oro Valley Town Council unanimously adopted Resolution R26-37, declaring and adopting the results of the town's primary election held July 21, 2026. The action took place at a special session Aug. 5 and passed on a 7-0 voice vote.
The chair moved to approve the resolution and said, "I move to approve." Council Member Green seconded the motion; the chair announced, "The ayes have it. 7 0." Council members present included Vice Mayor Barrett, Council Member Green, Council Member Jones Ivy, Council Member Murphy, Council Member Nicholson (joining virtually), Council Member Rob and Mayor Winfield. The adoption completes the council's formal certification of the July 21 primary results.
