Council confirms Lisa Heckman to Planning Commission, Dennis Ortega to Parks and Rec

"I interviewed all the candidates and selected Lisa Heckman for a nomination," Mayor Cott said, noting Heckman's qualifications and prior service. A motion to approve the nominations was made and seconded; the clerk recorded affirmative roll-call votes from all present members, and the appointments were confirmed.
Council members asked that those not selected remain encouraged to reapply when future openings arise.
