Rio Vista swears in Lisa Heckman to planning commission
Summary

Mayor Ronald Cott opened a joint study session of the Rio Vista City Council and Planning Commission and introduced the incoming planning commissioner.
The city clerk administered the oath of office to Lisa Heckman. The oath read at the meeting included: "I, Lisa Heckman, do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the constitution of The United States and the constitution of the state of California against all enemies..." City leaders welcomed Heckman and thanked the commission for its recent work.
The swearing-in concluded before staff presented the Waterfront Specific Plan review. The appointment was procedural; council and commission members offered brief remarks expressing appreciation and expectation that Heckman will contribute to future planning work.
